Studio Idents

Within our opening sequence we must have our own production identification (Ident), which is a identification that is used among production companies, this is an easier way for the public to remember significant film companies such as Warner Brothers,Walt Disney and Paramount.
Syncopy
When designing our ident I will like to use Syncopy's logo as it is very interesting makes you think that the studio company takes on interesting and complicated plotted films that are not only complicated but mysterious and thrilling for example Syncopy are one of the partners in the film Inception which is know for its complicated plot, the production company normally supports the mood of the film.  
Pathe
Pathe is a very different Ident  it somehow portrays creativity and it takes a home grown effect which makes you believe that there films aren't well known which is true in some respects but they are films that encourage social acceptance like the film Bride and prejudice which was a remake of Pride and Prejudice films that test social views and make us think about society, Pathe is written in speech marks which could mean the opinion of the production team is reflected through the film.
Film 4

Film 4 is a British film company that produces and supports mostly British film makers.
As you can see the logo changes for the mood of the film for example for a action movie there will be a scene from another action movie in the background and the logo will overlap the image this can be considered that they are suggesting that Film 4 can fulfil the scenes you see for example they co-produced  127 hours.The top logo is memorable as it perceives a sense of mystery that is very interesting but also has the effect of raising goose bumps. 

Touchstone



Touchstone used to be a very famous and commonly used production company's, famous for well known films like Pretty Woman and Sister Act, sadly there status has lowered.
Although Touchstone is now gone its ident was unique as it is very simple but still has the ability to stick into your mind, its simplicity is memorable as it isn't clichéd it is very different to other company idents

Lionsgate
Although Lionsgate could be described as clichéd
the cloud effect portrays a sense of Godliness or that they are out of this world or that the sky is the limit this is striking and memorable at the same time as it perceives power
Lionsgate also changes its logo for the mood of the film as you can see by the second logo it is the same but tinted in red this displays that the mood is either an action film or that there is danger to come within the film.
